I think that PS3 is going to own. According to the technology that they say it will have, it's supposedly going to be the most powerful gaming technology in the world. 360 will bow in front of PS3, humbly, as everybody will want the most powerful gaming system, not the second most powerful, as PS3 will have the greatest graphics, and the worlds most greatest gameplay, never before seen in history.

endri you fool, i respect ya devotion to your little ps3 but u should listen to the specs and charts. everybody knows that the 360 has more genral purpose performance and at the moment has a more powerful and better though out GPU and architecture then the ps3 and ps3 has alot more floating-point performance and a larger optical disc capacity. In my opnnion i recomend you keep it in your pants until your lover boy Kutaragi releases is hyped piece of plastic. By the way I hate xbox 360 as well and play on my ALIENWARE pc.

Sony almost always misses launch times for U.S. and Europe. What they did with the Playstation 1 and 2 was release them in Japan and say they'll release in America and Europe 3 months later. But, what happened was it was released in Japan and then they spent longer than 3 months to fix all the bugs... If the PS3 does a worldwide launch expect the same launch problems as the 360. Most launchs have more problems then the 360 did, it's just normal America never sees that cause they get the "fixed" version of the console months later.

I would prefer if blu-ray was decoded through the player so software resources could be conserved but there is nothing you can do i guess. shrimpy is right saying that games make a console however, i have always been a sucker for graphics and as long as i can get a game with equally as compelling storyline, gameplay, and replay value, i will choose graphics. I think that because of this software rendering blu-ray that both systems will be on equal tiers of graphic power making the decision a very hard one. when do people think this system will actually release? and, refresh my memory, has this secretive approach to releasing a console (within 3-6 months) ever happened in the past?

Ummm... Why are you bashing something no one has brought up? It's as if you were trying to argue with an invisible person. First off I would like to point out that power wise Ps3 is not much different from the 360. (Don't argue the facts, if you know what your talking about there about the same power wise. Ps3 is more powerful but not but a lot.) Second, I would like to point out that it's the games that make a system not specs... Obviously, or else Xbox would have won last Gens War. Third, personally like Xbox games to Ps3 games. Does that make me the devil? No. It means I have an opinion. If someone gets a Ps3 I'm not gonna scorn them I'm gonna accept they like the games on that system, no big deal. Fourth, I haven't seen real stuff from Sony except about Metal Gear Solid and I-8 both of which probally won't be launch titles. Fifth, I look forward to seeing the launch titles for the Ps3 and deciding if I should buy it. So, don't be a mentally retarted child and scream things such as, "i think ps3 is sick it’s better than sh*ty 360 iand i can’t wait to buy mine". Sure it's your opinion but it makes you look like a fanboyish fool by saying it. Finally I can say what I really wanted to... Now, if the PS3 is decoding the Blue-Ray through the Cell Processor whats left for the actual game computing? (I don't want a Ps3 as a Movie Player only a Game machine) I'm pretty sure decoding the Blue-Ray at any worthwhile speed will take up at least one seventh of the Cell processor maybe more. Then add in Graphics, AI, Physics, all the code underneath of that stuff, just seems to be limiting the power of the Cell processor. Just a thought that popped into my head about the Ps3. It's probally better for Sony since it'll cut down on how much they lose because of BlueRay.
