ps3 is the best why, our core power over xbox 360 and sixaxis, when killzone 2 comes out everyone is going to forget about halo 3 in a sec, plus playstation home is going to kill xbox live and its free. when 2008 comes then our titles will destroy xbox titles because mgs4,gt5,littlebigplanet,moterstorm 2,haze,home,etc compared 2 xbox wich have no more halo 3 because its there last ha ha and saints row 2 is bollocks,pgr4 is good but gran turismo is better,forza 2 wich is good but were is your first person shooters that what it boiles down to so do u want to buy a ps3 now i think so. ps3 4 live

Why do these xbox fans think that this xbox is so great? It crashes and if the ps3 is 2x more powerful it still means it’s better.

Anyone stop to consider that maybe the current generation of developer hardware is not as powerful as the final release of the PS3?

He did say that it was 2x as powerful, but take a look at the situation. He meant that it will be 2x powerful(in the future). There is no way that the developers can fully utilize all the power of the PS3 yet. The Xbox360's power will be fully used before the PS3's capabilities are done. So basically, the Xbox360 will stop getting better (graphic and game wise) before the PS3 does.

Kutaragi never said PS3 was 3X more powerful than 360 but 2X, wich is still probably a lie. But, in terms of options, capacity, capability and so on, yes, PS3 seems 2X more "powerful" than the already exciting 360, which in my opinion is the new dreamcast of this generation: It had the same very good graphics at the launch period, and then totally lost because launched too early: Dreamcast=no DVD. Everybody thought it was an uninteresting option, which proved to be absolutely wrong. Then with time, came MGS2 and other gorgeous games, that dreamcast just couldn't deliver. I think, the gap won't be too big this time, but even with the same graphics/sound/gameplay quality games on both consoles, why choose the one with less interesting options and already from the past (no built in Wi-fi, no internal out of the box HD media reader, no memorysticks entries, no 1080p for at least movies on blue ray, no great interaction with psp etc etc.). So to me, the choice is made: I really like the 360, nice and cool, but to many things missing for a true next gen expreience and a true all in one media center. now, I just hope SONY don't screw everything up which is possible...

Ken Kuturagi said the PS3 is 3x more powerful than the 360 when in all actuality they are pretty equal. Kikizo is a very reputable site, and a trusted source. The fact that you are unaware they exist is a matter of your own ignorance. They usually get info first before larger sites like Ign.com or gamespot.com. PS3 probably isnt powerful enough to support 1080p as of yet. That may change in the future, but as the article said these are big name developers they are not "stupid" but the hardware there working with will turn out the same as the Xbox 360, in which it will be a trial to develop for just like the 360. As it said expect LAUNCH games to look like good looking Xbox 360 games. Also, the article said the PS3 launch games would look like Xbox 360 launch games, not Xbox 360 games in general. This is near final hardware so dont expect much to change but the controller and the console design itself. Pretty disappointing.
