Playstation 3 production to begin in June/July
Sony has reportedly placed orders with Taiwanese manufacturer, Compeq, to begin the mass production of High Density Interconnect Printed Circuit Board’s for the Playstation 3.
According to Chinese website, MyDrivers, Compeq will begin manufacturing the orders around June or July of this year.

If this is the case, the PS3 is certain to miss its proposed Spring launch and would put it more on track for a release in time for the Christmas holiday season.
There has so far been no confirmation from either Sony or Compeq as whether orders have actually been taken.
