Yeah if the games where less than xbox and the unit was priced high I would probally consider getting the PS3. right now the Target stores in Millbury, Milford, Attleboro are fully stocked with the PS3 but are all sold out of the Wii. There is no way I am spending 500 to 600 bucks on this console and from what I am seeing none of the Displays work and when they do it constantly freezes Talk about a disappointment I got an Xbox 360 and it works great and the tech support is really great as well

I agree with Chris and Justin. With inflation, it will be at most 500 bucks and thats still a little too much for late 2006... But with what it has to offer (including blu-ray) half a G is a good price for what the Blu-Ray DVD players are going to cost. Its a steal and thats why the release will be worse than 360. I can pretty much promise at least 4% of consumers will have a PS3 thats going to bug out on them in the first shipment. Im still going to try and get one the day it comes out but if there are problems with the PS3, then I can trade it in.. Easy.

this bullshit come on sony is gone announce everything on e3 2006 everybody should prepare for a playstation 3 tsunami would you really think that some guy from france may announce the actual price of the ps3? y don't think so and sony sad that he only sad that he THAUGHT that this is going to be the price so it's not the price sorry but my english is not really good because i'm from holland :)
