So what if what they are saying is true. That just means the 360 has to try 3 times, I repeat 3 times, as hard as the PS3. Reason: Number of processors. The 360 has 3 PowerPC based processors running at 3.2 ghz a peice, yet how many does the PS3 have? Only 1, also running at 3.2 ghz, but as we all know, this is the cell processor.
Therefore, if Sony took the same route as Microsoft and had 3 processors instead of 1, the PS3 would be 3 times as powerfull as the 360. What does this all mean? Microsoft has to invest in 3 times as many components as Sony, which will cost them further down the road.
O ya, not only that, but all the bandwidth in the world is NOT going to do anything for you when you are still using DVD, which is a current generation medium for a next generation system, while the PS3 is smart enough to use next generation medium in a next generation system and not have to deal with the hassle of incorporating something else down the road.
