hi there, i recently went onto the internet and went on a site and what I saw was truly amazing, since mark richards unveiled the possibilities of the ps3 power with an eyetoy at this years e3, it was then that I knew virtual gaming is not impossible! and I would recommend that you ppl at ign should really go have a look at this site. The event was held at ceatec japan 2005 (http://www.ps3focus.com/archives/131)!

And toshiba showed off the cells power! and what they are talking about there is true! But lets add if you were to have the virtual glasses(hd tv glasses, then you dont have to spend so much money on a tv, rather get glasses for cheaper) and the whole body suite! The one BIG advantage of the suite, it’s wireless and powerless and very cheap to produce(eg. the coloured cups used at e3 eyetoy demo of the ps3) and just imagine playing a game with high visuals like killzone 2 on ps3 and virtually interacting with the gaming world, to actually have to aim with a weapon you are holding in your hand, or when you have a sniper rifle in your hand to actually have to aim through the scope!

I think such technology would truly boost the ps3 sale trough the sky! Or lets say fight night 3 to actually have to hit your opponents! The game world will truly change in ways we never thought possible, and so many extra doors for other gaming tech. would open! And with a company such as sony behind such a project i will put my life on the line it will be a huge success! At first when I came up with this idea I wanted to make money, but for me as the gamer i just want that sort of gaming experience. I don’t play games anymore because if you look closely, all the games of today are all the same, only thing that is different is the graphics and the story lines!!! 1 big eg. what made gta such a huge hit? FREEDOM! Doing what you want when you want! Just imagine that combined with the “freedom” of movement and looking where you want, touching what you want when ever u want! I would really like if you ppl and ign could maybe get this msg through to sony playstation!
