Actually the info in this article is somewhat inaccurate. The video is from a demonstration from Toshiba’s Cell booth at Ceatec. Although it’s true Sony, Toshiba, and IBM developed the Cell chip (processor PS3 is using) together, this actual booth was only run by Toshiba. So it’s unlikely this demo has anything to do with PS3 or even Sony. It’s simply an example of what the Cell chip is capable of.
