Three months after the release of the PS3, I challenge anyone to race their PS3 against my PC for pink slips… IE: winner takes ownership of the losers system.

Since Sony says the “PS3 is really a PC”, we will simply use industry standard benchmarking software with both systems using Linux.

Any takers?

I have a pretty good idea that the PS3 has a hyper bark louder than it’s byte.

If you want power - then open your wallet and buy a PC. You get to mod your games (or play other peoples mods). PS3 and XBOX 360 are just second class PC’s with similar but lower spec PC-like games. If you want a video game console buy something that offers a different kind of fun like the Wii. My PC could never do what the Wii can.
