The difference of 1 SPE shouldn’t make a huge impact on it’s performance.

Wherever you heard the PS3 will be using quantum computers, ignore everything that person/place has to say for the next year. They made that up, we already know what the Cell is, it’s a silicon transistor chip.

And each SPE is not it’s own chip, rather the SPEs are cast onto the same die as the main CPU core.

I’d rather have a Hard drive than a network drive, myself.
